The San Mateo County Paratransit Advisory Council is dedicated to improving the quality and availability of paratransit services in San Mateo County.
Paratransit is curb to curb public transportation for people with disabilities. Since 1990, the Paratransit Advisory Council (PAC), formerly the Paratransit Coordinating Council, has built on the major achievements in transit accessibility contained in the landmark Americans with Disabilities Act.
What is the Paratransit Advisory Council (PAC)?
The PAC, founded in 1977, is a volunteer organization that provides a formal structure for people with disabilities to voice their concerns about paratransit services in San Mateo County. The goal is consumer satisfaction and improvement of paratransit services in the county.
